Farm Assistant Wanted
Hawkes Bay Eggs is looking for a Farm Assistant to join our team on a full time basis - Immediate start.

This position is for a farm assistant primarily taking care of our Free Range site.
We are looking for someone who is reliable first and foremost, positive, hardworking, and happy to work in a team environment.
This job requires you to be physically fit as heavy lifting, bending, climbing is often required.
You will undertake a variety of different tasks which include the following:
- Grading
- Cleaning and farm maintenance
- Livestock management (experience is not essential. Having a genuine concern for animal welfare is required)
HB Eggs is a farm environment so please expect odours and dust
Hours/days are:
Friday: 7:30 - 3:00
Saturday: 7:30 - 12:30
Sunday: 7:30 - 12:30
Monday: 7:30 - 3:00
Tuesday: 7:30 - 3:00
Approx. 32.50 hours per week. May be on-call some Wednesdays. Hours can extend to 4:00pm on some days.

NOTE: Only applicants that are permanent residents of NZ will be considered for this position. We have bio-security regulations within the poultry industry which includes not having contact with or owning any birds, pigs or chickens at your place of residence.
